Osram D2S 66240SVS +30% Xenons

Before I buy some of these to resell, anyone have any thoughts?

Osram are already good enough as a standard bulb but I noticed these when doing an order earlier today.

They are sold as SILVERSTAR HID D2S +30% Part number 66240SVS, there is a reasonable amount of info on the net on them.....

So anyone interested? No need to commit, just fishing before I stock - or not!

Price would be £50 each/£100 pair

Steve
Just went to order these, what's the postage charge that I need to apply there are a couple of variants on the site, the Osram offer is the cheapest, but free would be better Whistle
Cheers

Hi Rob

£2.75 is the Osram (and other little things) rate.

Thanks

Are these a straight replacement on the D4 HSE?

Interested in these but just checking the fitment. Presumably a straight plug in too (not had to replace a xenon bulb yet)

Easy to fit D3s, NOT D4s. If I can do it, a drunk trained chimp on steroids can. Thumbs Up

Take off this cover, following the arrow,

Twist the silver cap to remove it, though twist against the arrow as at first I didn't twig that lock means unlock the other way. Rolling Eyes

Lift out the bulb after undoing the spring clip, mega easy access, and put the new one in same orientation then redo the spring clip (way easier said than done for the high beam).

Fitting is the reverse of the above. Easypeasy. Thumbs Up

Looking forward to heading out in the dark now. Mr. Green Mr. Green

Sorry they will not fit as the D4 runs D3S units with integrated ignitor

No D3S upgrade from Osram yet.
