Disco driver appears to have come off second best in the injury stakes - that's surprising in that incident.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

How did that happen? that's just off main road isn't it?
Not a million miles from me
Certainly a somewhat unusual incident. The driver of the Disco was obviously not paying attention (for whatever reason). A safe, wide road with good visibility. Would be very hard pushed to find an excuse...

Perhaps as the Suzuki's crumple zones absorbed more of the energy, and the tyres probably had less grip on the road?Current: Discovery 3 06MY (55 reg) HSE Auto Zambezi Silver Allisport Fast Road Intercooler, V8 Brakes, Silicone IC Hoses, EGRs Blanked, Remapped, De-Cat pipe, FBHIC

Perhaps although the crumple zones don't care where the energy comes from so both benefit equally. More likely, I guess, is that the female driver in the Disco was sat closer to the wheel (as is often the case being smaller) and took more of a blow to the chest from the air bag going off.Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
