Thinking of installing Webasto 1533 oval timer on a MY08 but have one question:
Will this start when temperature is above 8 degres C? Anyone having a solution to override the central temperature censor?

Hi Leif, welcome to the site 
on mine (MY 2006) it doesn't matter what the external temp is the timer will still fire up the FBH, even when it is 26C,
members with newer vehicles may have different experiences though and theeeeennn......???

Mines an my04 and the timer will not override the temp sensor. It has to be below 5 degrees (showing snow flake icon) for the timer to work.

I should qualify it a bit by saying mine has the remote mod done, so I have only tested it at higher external temps by using the fob and theeeeennn......???
