Alas just seen this and indeed as mentioned heat shields and lower intercooler hoses have to come off to reach that connector , plse don’t ask how I know , lol
This time I put some red grease on the actuator arm
Once again great it’s resolved

Discovery 4 , p0048 problem , cant for the life of me see the actuator rod , and I've taken the heat shield off. any photos please , and are we talking left or right hand side of car looking forward , thanks
