| P00AA(16) code after changing MAF |

Hello All, I changed a faulty MAF (using a cheap Riddex replacement part) after it was giving the engine management light, code P010D and restricted performance. The restricted performance stopped and the code cleared but now I have P00AA(16) and P00AA and the engine management light is still on. Car drives fine. These faults clear for a short period but then reappear. Can't find too much info on the codes. Any idea what might need checking ? Thanks.

I've had a similar issue with a MAP sensor. A remapped i know suggested buying a new OEM sensor rather than the cheap one I originally purchased. Will be doing so soon.

Thought it could be the Riddex part. Wonder if Autodoc will take it back. The original seems to be from Peirberg

Swapped the Ridex for a Continental MAF and the error codes have gone !
