Panel opinion
Hi
Wondering if I can get ur opinions please
Got a centre panel for the top dashboard satnav cubby hole , got a dual battery voltage meter which will show me a lot more accurate than the lights from the T max
The T max I’ll just use some Velcro to secure that in the plate
Just had to trim the switch down a little bit
Now, I also got a small sheet of plastic which I’m thinking if I should cover the plate with, to also hide the screws up and wondering what u thinks please if I should fit that plastic panel , it has a Matt finish and textured
Many thks as always , the 2 x other spare switches I may fit a 3.5mm aux connection there
Appreciated as always , bow

Hi
The T max black box is for my dual battery set up, allows me to link the battries togther with the press of a button if the main battery ever goes flat
The other switch there will display in volts what each battery is producing

Also how does the lighting dimmer system work please
Does it change the voltage to the bulbs so u can dim them of a night time
Just trying to understand it better plse , if I can incorporate it to the panel or is it’s a special box of tricks
Many thks in advance

Hi Pete
It’s just if the lights on the new top panel are too bright of a night time , wondering if it might be easier to just incorporate an off/ on switch to keep it simple so can can just turn it off if I want to
Just wondered how the dimmer switches worked and that would be ideal if the lights in that panel could all be dimmed in the same way the instrument panel can
Just trying the best I can to cover everything before installing , will be pre wiring most of it before hand
Yeh i know making it complicated

If you don’t normally dim the dash it isn’t going to help you ?
If your cigar lighter has illumination try wiring it to that.
