Park brake indicator when parked |
|
Hi All
I've been having trouble with the battery on my 06 D3 becoming discharged overnight when the car is parked - which may be due to the control module for the park brake 'not sleeping'. Has anyone heard of this? Does anyone know what the correct sequence and timings of the indicators on the dash should be when you park up please? On mine, if I apply the brake, then lock then car, the brake icon glows steady red for 2 mins, then begins to flash indefinitely... just wondering if this means the module isn't sleeping or is faulty? Many thanks.

Sounds like a fault. Mine takes about 5 minutes but then goes off completely. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
