Left my disco 3 this morning to get anti roll bar bushes fitted with and independant garage.
Firstly i noticed when i lifted it it seemed a lot higher at the back than the front. (was ok before it went)
I adjusted height to high then to low then normal and seems ok now.
But when i got home i put park brake on and it lets a loud squeling noise and puts malfunction on dash.
Can anyone tell me what to do to sort this as garage closes early on a friday and i wont get the guy until monday.

is it stuck on ?
If yes, you will need to manually release it - small cable (very well) hidden under rubber and plastic just next to the gear lever. Pull very hard on the wire loop to release. There are instructions in the user manual as well.
If not stuck on - don't try and put it on again. Just use park and then get it to the indie on Monday. It will need to be cleaned and retensioned (hopefully...and not new shoes and actuator).
What ever you do - don't use it now it is making the noise. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

thanks in between your post and mine i went out to check the handbrake is it on.
Yes it had locked so i started disco and released and it released ok.
i re enabled it and it work fine tried on and off about 10 times .
So do you think i should still not use it.
Although i luv to drive this jeep i only have it 3 weeks and it has gave me more bother than the VW touareg did in 3 years. And it had been well maintained i would hate to get one that had no looking after. Club Venom Remap

Hmm...sure you are on the right forum...? Jeeps are made by Chrysler... Could be you are trying to apply a manual handbrake and not an electronic one if you have a Jeep...? Or maybe your D3 has taken exception to be called a Jeep...?
But back on topic - If its working now but has screamed once or twice I would still just use park and get the EPB inspected.
For one of my EPB failures, I did not use it pending a dealer visit, only to have SMBO use it without problems for a couple of days (she didn't know it had had a problem). But it finally went back to "scream-mode"... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
