Park Brake Problem...Help me out of the mire. |
|
New to disco3.co.uk but I'm on a few vw/audi forums.
I've got myself in a slight pickle, my fiancees mum came up in her discovery 3, and I dropped them both off at the station, anyway I had been given the keys, and since it was parked in the way, I jumped in and moved it forward about 10 feet, noticed it had a 'special' park button, so released that drove it forward to make space for my car, anyway fiddled on with the park button, but noticed that when the key was out of the ignition there was a red (P) warning light still on.
Have I done something wrong, or do you think there may have been a fault already?
Any advice would be great.

It's fine, it will disappear when the car goes to sleep properly after about 10 mins I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

The light will stay on till the car goes to sleep, after the ignition is off and you've locked the doors - about 2 minutes ISTR.
