PARK HEATER REMOTE All sorted & worked a treat this morning.
Hi guys we have a 2010 D4 HSE & i have recently bought a Park Heater remote kit off a fellow member on here & installed it this afternoon but it doesn't work so i'm assuming it just needs enabling in a ccf file ( from reading up on here ) i thought it might work as on the HPI report when we bought it it listed optional extras when new & one was this kit at £1000 fitted but when i checked in rear panel nothing was there.
Is any one on here local to me in Hazel Grove/Bredbury cheshire able to do this for me ? i don't mind paying or gettings them beers or something
Thanks in advanced.

FBH remote kit enabling
Hi guys my mate at a LR Indy has enabled the timed climate & pretty sure the remote as well on his Autologic.
I now have the timed climate option on the home screen but when ive set it to come on to heat nothing happens & also nothing appears to be happening with the remotes.
I take it with the kit being bought off a fellow member that had it supplied & fitted by bodsy that the remotes will still be paired to the receiver or will they need re pairing now re fitted in our D4

So run the engine for 5 minutes and then switch off, then try the remote. Sometimes the battery is too low to activate it.
What lights flash on the remote? 8 quick flashes means it’s not paired, so remove fuse 2 in the engine bay, then out it back in, then press and hold the off button down until the red light goes out.
Then try again.
If that doesn’t work and it looks like it should work, then it’ll be down to the settings.Bodsys Brake Bible
