My parking sensors keep playing up in that most of the time they do nothing at all, then it moved on to making a tone when reverse is selected but the sensors wouldn't work at all.
Then today it went in to have them checked at the dealer where it was last worked on  (when they worked) and they worked for the first time in 5 weeks  they looked at the car and plugged it in and said they will need to rebook the car in for further investigation  whilst wanting £300. They say it might be a new sensor needed or maybe some frade wiring.
It seems to me that it could be a poor connection / switch, so can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to check  Where does the wiring start from so that I can try and trace it's route
The dealer changed the fuel sender unit ( I think ) with the previous owner when they worked apparantly, so maybe they snagged a wire or something 
So any ideas please
