Part names

Two questions am i right in thinking rear track control arm is another name for rear wishbone?
Is a "spindle rod connecting" one end of the green pole like thing (if so which end)?
Would be good if parts were known by one name only Sad

The wishbone is the wishbone-shaped component shown in grubby yellow on your pic.

Without seeing the original reference to "spindle rod connecting" I can't tell you what it's referring to, sorry.

yes

the green rod is adjustable this is to allow the wheel tracking to be adjusted via moving the upright (silver bit behind the purple suspension strut.)

The yellow bit is the wishbone, named but no longer looking like a chicken wishbone could be known as a lower suspension arm- simples

The wishbone can be called the A-arm, again due to the shape.

LR refer to the green rod as the "toe link", but another name would be track rod - so your description of track control arm seems to fit that.
