Part Number for D4 Heated Steering Wheel Module ECU
Hi All;
Been banging my head against this one and i cannot find the answer.
I need to order a new heating module to replace the current module I have on my D4 steering wheel, but I cannot find it on Microcat or anywhere.
The heating module connects to the phone switches on the steering wheel, to the heating element of the steering wheel and the power via the clock spring.
On microcat it only hows the steering wheel or the phone switches, not module - help
I have found these two numbers for RR and RRS: LR050943 and LR036111 which are not what i'm looking for
And also this one for the Freelander: LR039869
Thanks

Reading previous posts it appears to be only available with the wheel package! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I wonder if the Freelander module LR039869 is the same for the D4, surely it looks very similar on the drawings.
What do u think?

I can't give you positive advice apart to say a lot of components are universal, it is highly likely it would, they both do the same job and are supplied with the same voltage and the wheels are identical apart from the centre boss, some one will be along who is better qualified than me soon,
What is wrong with the one you have got, assuming you have got one?
I have a D4 wheel on my D3 working very good through the BBS adapter It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Hi
I'm making the D3/D4 conversion with BBS-SPY kit, however unbeknown to me the kit does not support the new 2014 steering wheel model, which has an extra connector.
I actually bought a second wheel from a 2013 model that has the exact same configuration.
I'm stuck, either I buy the module or steel the steering wheels and purchase another older version

It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I'm not sure of the part no. but I don't think the ECU is available to buy separately and come with the wheel itself.
I have tried to buy one previously and failed.
Is it the older type you need or the newer type?
