Parts Required
Hello
Thanks to all the amazing information I have read on various forums I am going to attempt to fit a D4 Bluetooth module in my D3 SE. I am in the process of gathering all the bits. So far I have the module itself and steering wheel switches.
Three things I could use some help with please
1) I need to get a most cable
2) I need a mic with the correct plug to install in the headliner
3) Anyone near the Forest of Dean area with an iid to enable the Bluetooth?
I know this has been covered lots in other forums so apologies for that but I am a newbie and haven’t the ability to pm yet.

pm has nothing to do with searching the forum... and the search button above
pm = only what it is... personal message to another forum member...Best regards

Thanks for the replies. I already have a most loop and I’m hoping to break in to in either from the dash screen or the amp under the drivers seat. Which ever may be easier. So need a most branch type connector.

It’s basically a splitter cable with a female end and two male ends. I think this should enable me to add to the most loop. I did read in some forums that members had made said cables and could sell them. I have seen one on flea bay but not sure if the connectors are the same.

Makes life easier thanks. The part number for the mic is xvc000050. It’s off a RRS but fits apparently.

Hi
Ur very welcome
Blimey £40 new, think it would be cheaper to buy a front light second hand with the microphone fitted , there around £25 , believe the ones that have the microphone also have the sunroof switch fitted
Sea raider might have one

That’s a cracking idea Just found the whole light fitting with speaker second hand for £15. The post with install pics is brilliant. The guy who posted it is a genius!
Just the most cable and iid tool to obtain now

If u look at the wiring diagram it will have a number on that particular wire , ie c2105 , that’s a connector number , on the other picture it shows u the connector and to the left a part number of that said connector
Always a pleasure to help where I can as god knows the forum and members have helped me beyond belief
