No not really. Economy also (in my mind) covers all financial costs for the D3, RFL, spares servicing etc, MPG is just the fuel side of life.

NEWS from Patriot

D3 racks WILL fit with a shark fin fitted. Load rating is 125kg point loading. They also said that a 20 stone man can stand anywhere on the rack with no worries. After a quick chat the rack will still be straight after the roof has deformed. Apparently the doors become hard to open if you overload the rack Shocked . So god knows what weight is needed to pinch up the build gaps for that to happen.

So I'm quite happy that my D3 will flatpack itself before the rack gives out and deforms.

Hopefully that clears a few questions that people had

Order for Patriot Roof Racks should be going to Patriot within the next few days so if you still think you want one there is still time.

PM either me or MARKW for details.

Well finaly after all the ups and downs of organising this. At 1 point we were up to 5 poss 6 people but in the end we held off as long as we could for others to commit. And when push came to shove only me and Trevor purchased.
Mine was fitted last week and Trevor's today.

If in the future you want a rack then feel free to PM me or Trevor and we'll give you the details of our deal Thumbs Up
