Not quite - the tow bar electrics are connected behind the left-hand trim panel, but at the rear where you open the flap.
The PDC module is on the same side, but at the front towards the C pillar - you'll need to remove the trim panel to be able to get to it.2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

What made it stop working, the only reason I ask is that I pulled a plug off a sensor when I caught the bumper on a tree stump. The rear PDC light was on the switch on the dash and I got a continuous beep. Then it stopped working all together, when I connected the plug back up it still didn't work.
I removed the battery a few times and suddenly it worked again. I think the CAN bus tries a few times and then disables it when there is a fault.

i dont know thats the problem,i have checked the wiring loom, and all the sensors make that ticking noise if thats the right way to explain it , but what you said reguarding it stopping working all together that makes sense as when you put it in reverse you get the beep then the continus beep then sometimes you get nothing at all.
