Looking to buy a used D4 from Pentland Elgin, does anyone have any recent buying, after sales or service experiances they would like to share.

Asked about 105k service just after they took over oggs but we're too busy for about 6 weeks, always fine for parts, not bought a whole one from them though.

Go To Macrae & Dick Inverness
I have bought 2 new vehicles in the last 12 months and never stepped foot in the showroom.
Delivered to my door and when i had a fault light appear on the wifes Disco Sport it was collected and I was left with a FF Vogue.
After sales service has been 1st class...Unlike Aberdeen
Ask for George & he will look after you im sure

It's my local garage and know one of the sales men there ask for Jason and he would see you alright. I don't personally use them due to clashes with old service manager. Customer service lacks a little bit but can't fault them when car was in for tow bar recall. Get the feeling your just a number and don't get the same customer care as when they were oggs. Hope this helps you

I haven't bought a vehicle from them but dropped my disco in for repair this morning so I will see how there service department does when I get a call next week

Used them in an emergency once. The service department gave the attitude that they couldn't be bothered. Certainly didn't make any effort.
Tried them twice, three years apart for sales, again, they couldn't be bothered either in the showroom or phone/email.
I don't know if your local and the landed gentry that they treat you any better. Certainly wouldn't recommend on my experiences.

If I was landed gentry I guess I wouldn't be looking at a second hand 12 or 13 plate!

Right iv got my disco back ,all things done that was asked ,my other half picked it up on Saturday, they asked me for the first hour and a half of fault finding then called again asking for another hour I think it was so I asked to talk to the mechanic just to see what he was thinking was wrong to save asking the girl at the desk passing msgs back and forth ,there was no problem there ,the only thing I wasn't too chuffed at was when I went away to work they were dealing with my other half and told her I had a seized bolt in one of the front wishbones and it cost £85 labour and £9 for a bolt to replace after iv just had it all in bits and used copper grease everywhere ,so I thought it would be a waste of time trying to argue my case ,so it being a Saturday she picked it up i told her to ask for discount and was told there were no managers in to give any discount that day other than that happy that it's working as it should
