Performance restriction

Hi I have a discovery 4 2011 plate when a do short journeys and the car is up to temperature I get the restricted performance warning come on.
I have taken to the garage they said it was a air mass flow issue and replaced the faulty one.
Came on the next day went back and they said the error did not come up they suggested the only other issue could be the water In fuel sensor..
Had a issue un related and had to have this sensor replaced but yet again the message popped up today.
Fine all morning longish and short journeys but this afternoon after a 1/2 mile journey came on again.
I would welcome any ideas as I feel I can’t keep taking it to the garage as this is becoming a nightmare.
P.S the performance is never restricted.
Thanks Gary

I think you are going to need to post the error codes, It might be worth asking if there is anyone local on here who has an iid tool that can read your codes.

I am in Warwickshire if you ever come up this way, I can read the codes.

Are you getting any restricted performance, or does the car drive normally?

Are all the vacuum pipes connected OK? I had an intermittent restricted performance issue for ages until I found a broken connector on a vacuum pipe. Take oil cap off, lift front of (or remove) engine cover and you will see a vacuum pipe between you and the oil filler. If that connector is loose/broken it will cause the symptoms you have described.
