Hello
Apologies for the cancellation but I do need to have a holiday and as the car is based "up norff" I wasnt able to arrange the demo as promised.
I'll try my best to get the car to rockingham for the 18th....unless we sell it before

The only chip you need is for your pacemaker, you haven't got your D3 yet, its in kit form at Solihull.

Turbochip,
If you can bring a 'modded' D3 or RRS on the 18th it would be very much appreciated, as you have no doubt gathered many of us are very keen to see what difference it makes. You may gain a few more customers as a result
Cheers

I will make our Disco3 available on the 18th for forum members to drive. My only proviso is that every one who wishes to drive it will need to provide I.D. and sign a damage disclaimer that if they 'bash' the car they have to pay for it
Please can someone forward me a schedule for the day and directions
ps We will try and also have our RR sport on the same day!!

I think just the D3 would be great, now I know it is available, I need to clear it with the company I am working with who own the site. It looks as if my car could be dubiously absent, so it should make no difference to the amount of cars now for the safety angle.
One interesting question, now my car is having new computer and reset to factory, would that have knocked out the TC upgrade?

Why is your discovery having a new computer? If an ecu is replaced with a factory standard one then it will need re-upgrading but if they are simply updating the ecu then it should be fine

It appears the whole thing has blown up, which needs the main on board computer, dashboard system and a fuse box or something. All stems from a parking brake light error, then cruise control errors, then engine cut outs over a period of about 4 months. Dealer reset at least twice before, result car now dead apparently.

Oh dear
Can you contact the local turbochip dealer that fitted your upgrade...we will need some documentary proof of what has happened and if required we'll upgrade the new computer.....it would be good for everyone to be aware of what happened to your car

No, I have NOT had a TC upgrade, it was a question if I had one. My car is a virgin, untouched and as left the Solihull factory.

Thats good then....so just to reassure forum members that if the engine ecu is replaced then Turbochip would indeed upgrade the new computer.
To date we have upgraded 130 TDV6 engines

I see that on the sister site (RRsport), this topic is hotting up somewhat. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Hello
Dont think anything is hotting up...just a bit of 'mud slinging' between us and a 'plug in' box man
