The Phone call i wanted came today from my dealer :)
My car is there at the dealers, do i want to view it before we PDI they said, and offerd me to go and do the PDI with them
my answer was, what do you think ill see you in 5
They are trying to get the PDI done for tomorrow for me since i didnt want to stay and help lol, which is good of them because the original delivery date was the 28th December so im nealry 2 weeks early.
They have also said they will tax it for the 2 weeks remaining in December and 12 months from that

Yup that was him, he did struggle to get in the car because of the big red sack on his back.
For his trouble i gave him a mince pie and some sherry

I GOT IT
I was road testing my TDV6 Defender today and decided to put some fuel in it and call at my dealers next door for a oil filter.
While filing up at the petrol station my mobile starts ringing, it was Micheal from my LR dealer stating my car was ready for collection, so i was ahh humm ahh ok ill see you in 2 mins im round the corner at BP.
Baring in mind it was 2pm yesterday it arrived on the transporter which makes it already 14 days earler than the expected date of the 28th, and its now only 1pm a day later so they have fully pulled the stops out and got it done first job today for me.
sure eniough i got literally 200 yards roundthe corner and peeping out at me in prime show room space is my new car
I must say the sales support that i have had from them is outstanding, ive been kept up todate all the way from the order date, and was delt with in a manner i could get used to
So now im a happy bunny:)

They did ask my nicly at the dealers to refrain from plugging my laptop into it at least for today,i agreed and thought id do the lights instead hehe.

Russell, i did have a peep today at the wireing on the FBH, i notice that the Red wire in i think pin2 WAS there unlike the D3 which was removed later on in manafacturer. Me thinks its fitted for a reason that may help us
I need to read the books and get to understand all the standard basic settings then its first on my list after the tow bar fitting tomorrow.
Can we already set the FBH via the radio as standard ?
I must admit ive not read the books i got with it yet.
