Picked up our first disco for towing a caravan
Hi all,
Recently picked up our first LR for towing our new caravan and I absolutely love it!
It’s a 2015 HSE Luxury, however it may be missing some standard fit items for the trim, but I could be wrong! Should I have, for example, TV on a 2015 HSE lux?
Towed the caravan(heavy twin axle) from Wiltshire down to Cornwall with no issues at all!
Is there a list of standard for items for the spec we have? It’s definitely the spec it’s been sold as.
Wellcome aboard. No idea re spec. I’m sure someone here does. I seem to recall when I was looking at a d4 hse that the tv was an extra. But I’m probably wrong.
Enjoy the power.

The HSE Lux normally comes with full length roof rails. I see the short ones are fitted.Disco 4

I have the LR sales brochure for the 2015 D4
If anyone would like a copy, pm me with an email address and I will send you one as an attachment.
Welcome FirstDisco, I also pull a twin axle caravan in my 2015 HSE Luxury from Wiltshire
According to Parkers, TV was standard with the only real options being full-size spare and CD Multichanger but not sure I wholly believe them.

Hi,
ISTR some dealers putting a "Lux" badge on the back of some of their new cars if they added a few options as their own Dealership type of model
we looked at a RRS in the past that was advertised as a HSE Lux it was a standard HSE with some dealer options fitted and the Dealers Lux badge

Don’t worry about the tv they are the biggest waste of space ever, they cannot be viewed above 5mph as they automatically switch off for safety, they cannot be watched for more than 5 minutes when stationary as you will have a flat battery, they cannot be watched in a traffic jam unless you switch the stop-start off.
HSE lux should have, heated steering wheel, remote oil burning heater, leather heated seats, dvd player with memory storage for 6 dvds, useless xenon lights only good for spotting roosting pidgeons, useless cornering lights, rear camera with hitch assist- very good if tow bar is factory fitted (extra). Electric adjustable steering column with memory seats for easy access. Etc,etc. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Very tidy!
I prefer those style alloys (and more tyre that comes with it) than the 20" HSE Luxury style ones I have on my Landmark.
