No it was the £3 bolt had sheared on the tensioner at the back of engine -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

Gutted .. belt change half hour max . u must have lost u head when that happend 5/6hrs later fixed

Has the chassis been painted/waxoiled?
You need to change the title..... Theres only one picture....... If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

We wax oiled it , and new clutch , all bushes , all new brake pipes front to back , and a filter change -------------------------------------------------

Stew did the bolt just shear or did you over tighten it and it snapped?

Strike that^ just seen that the bolt sheared while driving, you must have been livid!! Glad you got it all sorted, what was the sat nav and sound issue in the end?

It sheared of , engine misted a beat then 2 mins later it just cut out the belt was fine , so a £3 bold was the problem but we learnt a lot about the D3 doing it our self wouldn't hesitate to to take it of again if I had to -------------------------------------------------

Well we made one mistake We had to connect the battery to open the tail gate , and connected the bat the wrong way that messed up the fuse link we think , so auto elec put a feed from another one and audio and sat nat sorted -------------------------------------------------

That looks nice being all clean
Always makes me wonder why the centre exhaust box out, straight through the exhaust and fit an extra fuel tank in the space to almost double the range of Disco, would help keep weight more even at the rear as well i guess and would be good for those overlanding and the like FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner
