A pillar internal trim gapping

Noticed my A pillar interior trim gapping in the middle section - see photo. Seems to be tight-er at the top and bottom. No idea when this happenedas never had it off and nor has anyone else as far as I am aware. I have tried just pushing but just springs out again. Doesn't seem like there in anything to clip it/engage down it's length. I'm going to have a go at taking it off and relocating it. Is it the same as the D3 where you have to take the plastic airbag piece off and undo the torx screw to get it off? Do I need to do anything else or unclip anything to get it off?

Thanks
Cheers
 Gary

I had to do mine recently as all the hot weather had weakened the bodge the windscreen fitters had done for the PO. It was noisy at speed from the top edge.
Open the bonnet and just pull it firmly from the top edge and work your way down (all done on the outside of the car).
You will need to replace all the clips as they are supposed to be single use.
I bought a set from the dealers for about £7 as it is 5mins away.
Just line the clips up with all the holes before you press it down.
I had to give mine a few sharp whacks with my fist to seat in the middle so hence make sure the clips are on the holes else they with snap or distort making them useless Sad
They were all the same grey in my kit so no yellow ones.

Same as D3 - you will see a couple of tabs that it locks into down it's length. You may have to push the wiring loom out of the way to find the location points. I found it best to feed those in and then pull it back away from the A pillar and screen until its all straight and in line. It's not a long or difficult job, just a knack to get it to seat right.

Thanks all for the replies.
It’s the trim inside the car that’s the problem (not the external black trim). D3 instructions say prise of air bag sign and undo the torx screw.
Same as D3?
Thanks

Yes, undo the torx under the airbag and pull it off Smile

Many thanks . Not sure it’s going to clip in any tighter but need to try.
