So I’m guessing it’s a cavity wall dot & dabbed internally ?-------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

My money is on the dabs! Typical application for the board would to the internal face of the external wall although I have used it on a loft in the past.
Bins are tiny. Based on that number I would use a backing board to reduce the fixings into the wall

Hiya
The wall is solid brick with no cavity , indeed is an external wall , other side is an alley way down the side of my house , that’s between neighbour and I , had a lot of condensation problems so this was installed which cured the issue
Must admit Looked at those metal backing boards but work out very expensive , cheapest I’ve seen for a 900mm sq around £35.00
Apologises if I’ve misread it and the backing board is the plywood
Many Thks as always

Whilst your earlier post mentioned these there is/was no visible link unlike the other posts showing the expanding screws etc

I have no idea if this would be anywhere near suitable so suggesting this for constructive comments, should a ply sheet stuck with copious amounts of No More Nails work, without any mechanical fixings into the wall?
Or would this not be recommended?

Many thks as wondered that , but then thought if the weight of the bins would pull the plaster board forward , think I will only need fixings higher and middle of the board
