Plastic windows on caravan.
I need to do give the tintent some TLC in the next few weeks. Van is 10 years old but in very good nick. However windows need a bit more than a clean. Years ago I obtained some polish from local plastic sign shop. Cannot rememeber the name of the product but it worked very well. Any suggestions please?

Think I heard Autosol does it, but please don't use it until someone more knowledgable comes along.

I use Fenwicks caravan window polish on mine, gets rid of the worst of the swirl marks but not perfect.

Greygate Plastic Polish is excellent and is used by many sports car types on their rear hood windows which can get badly scratched. Just Google it LR Discovery 4 XS pulling an Airstream 532 Caravan also own (since new) a 1996 MGF

As above, a little t-Cut mixed with some cheap polish will do, or better still some Farecla G3 followed by some G10 that will bring the windows up like brand new

Farecla g3 and g10 ideally with a machine polisher like a das kestral
Wil bring the paintwork up a treat too, you would be surprised how much grime gets into the bodywork
There are plenty of purpose made creams for acrylic refurbishing, dont use a product that is too abrasive it will take a long time to put a shine back on if you aint got a professional polishing machine....................................................................................................
If my wife ever sells my stuff for what she thinks I paid for them, you lot are gonna get some bargains!

I have not used it myself, but T-cut is widely recommended on "UKcampsite".

Using a polishing machine on a caravan paintwork is said to be quite risky, due to the thinness of the paint, but have seen excellent results on windows

T-cut for me too,I once went down a narrow lane with thorns either side and left loads of scratches on my vans windows but they came up like new, just be gentle though
