To be fair the mpg was accurate compared to real life measurements, not like the D4 Rolling with laughter

So I seem to get between 23-27 mpg on my disco 3

I do see signs of a tunning box under the hood (only seen the psu so far, need to dig further)

I expect poor mpg while towing (which is a majority of its use) but I’m concerned that it is too low under normal running. I don’t tend to boot it. But it does go like something off a shovel

Wondering if I need to investigate this possible tuning box and remove it.

Or am I getting realistic mpg for a d3. ?

Off roading I don’t really monitor. Smile it’s just playing.

What sort of driving is that from? If around town, short cold trips expect 18mpg or so, cruising at 60mph 30, maybe 32mpg. And everything in between, depends on whether you’re driving like Miss Daisy or like you stole it. Whistle

And don’t forget the trip meter lies by 2 - 5mpg. Thumbs Up

Mostly A and M roads - try not to do short cold journeys.

Kids get upset that i use the q5 for the 60 min each way shool trip Smile cos the mpg is sooo much better.

A little bit more realistic, after 382 miles on German Mways cruising at 60mph. And on Polish super diesel. Thumbs Up

Now I’m quite happy as regularly see high 50s, even low 60s, where I used to see high 20s/low 30s. Mr. Green Mr. Green
