2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Tonga GreenDiscovery 3
please, any opinion about the manufacturer LUK?

Hi to everybody!!

I am in the process of buying a complete clutch kit for DIsco 3 manual, which after almost 300,000 kilometers with the original clutch is already well I think, and I find parts this manufacturer, LUK, almost exclusively and has good prices. Anyone have references of this manufacturer LUK? in much worse than OEM spare parts? On the other hand you think that with these kilometers it would be a good idea to ask for and install the dual mass flywheel, without having seen the old one?

thanks everyone in advance

I think LUK is the original supplier and I would change the dmf as well at that age.
D1 300TDI ES. just kept going, sold at 170k miles, body beginning to rust
D2 TD5 GS. sold at 140k, chassis beginning to rust
D3 TDV6 SE. 194k Still going.

LUK are owned now by Schaeffler (group includes INA & FAG bearings among other automotive interests).

Very good clutches, preferred choice for many garages, all brands of car.

I've used luk clutches in quite a few cars over the years. They even do uprated ones which i used in my track cars years ago.
Some people live in the fast lane I seem to live in oncoming traffic.
