Is it just the wheels that show it's the armoured version or are there other giveaways too?D3 HSE TDV6 Auto. Bonatti Grey.

Normally you can tell by the windscreen and windows.... The windscreen has a larger black border to it which helps to disguise its thickness as they are probably 3 or 4 times thicker than the normal glass...
With our old ones you could easily spot them in the summer parked on the hard shoulder... Where they had expired ... They didn't like being hammered on jobs as carrying all that extra weight and the cooling systems invariably exploded in contempt of the abuse they were given...

I drove them in hot and high conditions and suffered zero cooling issues or indeed any sign of strain on the engines or ancillaries. We did break suspension components and twisted the odd chassis but the driving conditions were extreme.
