Every time I go there for a brew there's always at least one police vehicle of some description there. More than likely a good spot for shift change over.

More than likely a good spot for . . . . doughnuts!

We've got a D3 up here 09 or 59 can't remember I think it patrols the M90.

Local police station had a RRS on demo a few years back, looked the business with blues and twos.

I am guessing it's a fairly good meeting point due to location as well, not far from A14, on the A1198 and A428.

The Surrey discos look smart with the snorkel

One of the LR mags did an article recently on one of the Police D4's & how impressed the officer was of its towng capabilities.

Says a lot of vehicle & driver when you can tow a 40 tonne truck. Shocked

I think that is why Motorway Police and Traffic officers use LR products. I know in the 70's the Police were using RR Classic to pull 38T lorries off the Spaghetti junction and getting 80K miles out of the Michelin tyres.

As a general observation, it's sad that the only time you see the Plod is when they stop at a fast food outlet for a break. Rolling Eyes
