Poor radio reception when rear demist/ fault sequence

Hi

Anyone had poor reception on both DAB and FM when the rear demister is on?

My 59 plate D4 has rubbish reception on radio when it used to be good- then i realised it was only when the rear demisters on. if i turn that off its crystal!

am also getting a little sequence of faults on the dash every now and again for what appears to be no reason.

Starts with gearbox fault then active braking unavailable, drops down its suspension, parking brake fault.

anyone got an idea of what might be causing either or both?

Had ordered the code reader but it's a long and painful story that i'll share once its resolved through paypal...ZZzzzZZ

I often have similar radio issues with my car. It hasn't been quite so bad recently, but I do have some damaged elements on my rear screen, so I am planning to try repairing these when I have time. Do you have any damaged elements or does your rear screen clear OK?

Regards,
Steve
