if engine warning light is due to the EGRs, I believe there is a software fix to clear it.

does performance become more as expected above ~ 1500 rpm ? could be a sticking turbo linkage.

It's not a warning light on the dash, just a message that pops up over the mpg display saying engine control fault or something like that - I'll check tomorrow to confirm. I have nanocom so can read the faults.
I think the performance is acceptable at other speeds, it's just that initial acceleration that's slow

Hiya, p132b was one that kept coming up on mine. Linkage was “notchy” and sometimes free sometimes stuck, also when I looked my turbo had way too much shaft movement and ended up need a swap out which I’ve just finished. There’s a few threads on it in here, one has a guide to make a tool up and believe a releasing spray with graphite is a good way to go. No amount of freeing would have saved mine though. Good luck with it. Thumbs Up

Remove map sensor and give it a clean with contact cleaner or similar, if gunned up it affects throttle response

Hi I had the same issue after having the engine rebuilt was fine for a few days then poor low end response. The engine would take a couple of seconds to pick up then was fine until I stopped again, I had no fault codes, EGRs blanked, free turbo linkage, new fuel filter, no black or blue smoke etc. Then trying to make sense of it thought fuel, Air Electrics,
Any way found the air pipe from the MAF sensor(air box) across the top of the radiator down to a flexible connector was loose and not connecting securely, the pipe from the turbo inlet had (dropped) was not secured to the fan cowling, so secured the turbo pipe, refitted the air pipe onto the flexy, tightened it all up took it for a test drive, one big blue smoke cloud when I booted it and it flew(in D3 terms) I have repeated the stop start several times no more smoke and good acceleration, I can only assume the poor fitting pipe confused the engine management and was running lean.
Hopefully you issue is as simple, (its the simple things we tend to forget not that anything is simple on the D3)
Good luck Thumbs Up
