Portable power pack Jr

Having made a large power box I thought I'd have a go at its younger/smaller brother. At the minute it's got a volt meter, 1 X 12v outlet and an LED light. Will be powered via a 33ah battery. Was also thinking of using a red light instead of a white one in order to preserve night vision. Just need to wire it all up.

Is that an old ammo bog? Also what battery fits in it?

I think you may have yourself a little market there! I'm looking to build one for when camping without the trailer, but I'm sure some out would be interested in buying this or it's bigger brother Thumbs Up

Edit: Ever thought of adding a comfort charger cable/plugin as well? What about battery vents? Iggy/Ieuan

Yeah it's an old ammo box. Was thinking of adding a charger but that would push the price up. It will be a 32ah battery and yes I'll be adding a vent and a slightly different light as I'm not totally happy with this one.

I've just costed it up and you'd be looking at £115 plus p&p but I'd do a forum price of £105 plus p&p.

Maybe I could get a group buy going Thumbs Up

excuse my ignorance Rolling Eyes , but what sort of usage can you expect to get out of something like this? i'm heading off camping this weekend and have no source of power other than the disco. Usually have an electric hookup.
i will have to charge 3 phones and a tablet for 3 nights. so 12 charges in total.

Would also like to run a light too but can get by with the camping lanterns I have already.

Been looking at inverters and leisure batteries but just no idea what is suitable.

Any advice appreciated! Bow down Bow down

Maybe this one would be more suitable. I've used one on a weeks camping trip and it charged phones etc no problem. Also ran an LED light every night. Just looking into solar as well.

Just done this variation mainly as I like the switches and the retro looking meter.

Any thoughts.
