Retofitting Power Folding Mirror |
|

Yes it can be done i did it last week, the only thing you will need is the power folding mirrors and the faultmate software, it is quite easy to do, you just unscrew the mirror take the electrical cable off replace the new one with the old one, hook up the faultmate, and off you go, and then you can go into the tft menu and push the mark on the power folding reverse mirror dip and that one works, as well, if you have surround camera system then you can also hook up the camera system and you will also get the outside light as well.

Hi folks.
I have a D3 SE. I got hold of folding mirrors from an HSE.
I re-fitted this to my car no problem.
However, in addition to this, you would need to replace the mirror control switch (on the door panel) and also add the power relay for the folding function. This is a small brown box type relay right next to the fuse box behind the cubby hold.
I was lucky enough to have sourced all above from breaker's yard. LR Discovery 3 TDV6 SE-2005, General Grabber AT.
