haven't got the car yet but manual says 12 mph.
I often fold in my volvo mirrors on local tight lanes with oncoming traffic at higher speeds, and also like to activate early on approach to pinch-points and such.
tried doing this at 12mph in current car and er, its naff

I have powerfolded mine at 40 or 50ish I seem to recall, so dont think you will have any issues.

When the mirrors are 'in' there is probably only about 30mm difference anyway. If you are getting that close to other vehicles try pressing the brake pedal instead of taking your hand off the wheel to adjust the fecking mirrors!

DD - er, that's not right taking my hand off the wheel to adjust the mirrors; with one arm flopping about on the armrest there'd be no hands on the wheel then ...

I'm having trouble with the concept of removing rearward vision above a certain speed. Surely, no matter how fast a D3 is going, there will still be vehicles catching it up that need to be observed? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. I fold mine in as a matter of course on narrow lanes, couldn't care less who's behind me, they can stay there until the roads wide enough to overtake, it's not who or what's behind it what's coming round the next bend and how fast you have to worry about. The highway code states you must always travel at a speed with which you can stop, I'm afraid it is ignored where I travel.
I can fold mine in at any speed, if I didn't they would have been knocked off by now! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
