Is there a similar thing for a D3 ?The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

No, but they look better than the add on kit from LR, much improved.
I agree. Better than the LR offering in all areas- price, look and ease of fitment!

The only ones I can remember for D3 were the Osram LEDriving LEDFOG 101. This was superceded by the LEDFOG 102, which doesn't fit the D3 but does the D4.
They were being sold on the Forum by a site sponsor but they stopped due to cheap chinese copies being sold online.
I'm not sure whats currently available for the D3 but would be interested to found out.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)
2008 D3 HSE Izmir Blue- South African Spec. (Zimbabwe)
2005 FFRR SC V8- Java Black
1995 D1 300 Tdi Blue - (Sourced from the UK, shipped to Namibia, driven by me to RD Congo, then Zambia, now retired in Zimbabwe)
Very happy. Driving light is very bright, fog light as good as any fog light is (!).
Very easy to install. Just used the plug behind the grill for the ignition controlled source and spliced into the side light feed to actuate the driving light system. All worked perfectly without having to install any extra boxes and loads of wire Morris Dancers: Drinkers with A Dance Problem

Those two part numbers (LEDFOG101 and LEDFOG102) seem to come up as Osram brand parts.
They look to have a multifit type bracket tabs on the 101 variant but the 102 tabs seem to be different with less options:
They're a lot more expensive than the powerful_uk options though (around 2.5 times for me here in Australia) but big name brand and five year warranty.

I've always run on Osram, there are many copies of them for a fraction of the price, but the quality will eventually show. You also find with the cheaper versions the light emitted is not a crisp white, but more of a blue white which IMO looks like Chinese tat. saying that the PUK ones do look white in the image, maybe pop them an email asking to confirm the output?D4 MY10 - SOLD Thanks to ULEZ!

We get emails from China offering us various lights etc.
In 2019 we started to get emails from China saying that company X, Y, Z uses genuine Osram LEDs whilst other Chinese companies are using fake Osram LED! This I found rather ironic.
Now even if Osram LEDs are being fitted are they the best Osram LEDs?
Osram will have a product code call it ABC. Now that product code ABC may well have at least 10 different grades of ABC and what is required are the BIN identifying codes. These separate out the LEDs on many different specifications including such things as colour temperature, light output etc.
Now the best grades of product ABC will sell for $s each whereas the bottom grades will be hundred for a few $s, i.e. cents each.
So just seeing the name Osram associated with a light, does not mean you will be getting a genuine good quality Osram or even a lower quality Osram compared to a fake Osram.
If a light is cheap then there is normally a very good reason for cheap price.
Probably best advice is to stick to a well known reputable brand. Might cost a bit more in the first place.

So can anybody confirm that Osram 102's will fit a Disco 3?
I know that the lamp sizes are the same but is there a lot to do to the mounts to get them to fit?
Also, I do not think that they would be play and play but a lot of mods would have to be done?
The threads I have seen only show the 101's, which are no longer supplied by AF and the Powerful Uk ones state only Disco 4.
Thanks in advance.2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)

If the D3 is the same as the D4 then they will fit, I had no issue with them on my D4. Osram are plug and play up to a certain point.. They come with a blank anda plug, it only needs power from 1 side of your car to work so you get a blank to stop water getting into the now redundant plug. There is additional wiring so you can have cornering lights, when you indicate the for will illuminate in that direction. The ONLY issue with this is that when you put your Hazards on the DRLs will flash with them, which I am lead to believe is legal in Europe but not in the UK. This wasn't an issue for me as you simply disconnect it for an MOT, or cover the front fogs. They were a little squeeze to get in to the D4 but nothing needed modifying for it to slip in. Best thing to do is check a genuine D3/D4 fog light for its mounting points.D4 MY10 - SOLD Thanks to ULEZ!

Not sure where you are located, but if near Surbiton or happy to drive there I have a set that are no longer installed (removed when Disco went) that I am happy for you to try in your hole for fitment?D4 MY10 - SOLD Thanks to ULEZ!

Hi Xed Sal,
Thanks for the offer but unfortunately I'm off this weekend back to work, so won't be around until April.
It's on my to-do list when I get back!

Re: powerful_uk_ltd LED DRL/Fog light combinations
I considered the genuine Land Rover DRL kit but it sits right at the bottom of the front bar which seems to be a bit low to be noticed and an easy target to be whacked by kerbs or rocks etc.
I've got some and pretty pleased with them. Here's a close-up of mine:
