Er indoors was doing a three point turn. She did her first manoeuvre and ready to go back and off. Looks in her mirror whilst she was stationary and sees some silly moo reverses out of a drive and goes into the back of our Disco 4.
The moo asks my wife why she did not horn and what she was doing in her way!
Then she says seeing as her car is quite damaged it's my wife's fault so pass us the insurance details.
Just looked at the disco and all I can see is her blue paintwork on the tow bar cover and a bit of scuff on the lower bumper that is not colour coded.
I can see a fight with the insurance company approaching.

Probably not as the other driver needs to enter the public road your wife was on and in doing so it's her responsibility to prove that it's safe and clear to do so. ISTBC Loving the power of the TDV8!

Update: The third party insurers are wanting a 50/50 liability (I have not even begun my process)
Says as my wife was doing a three point turn she no longer has right of way....The third party is saying now that my wife was reversing at the time when she came out of her drive even though my wife knows she was stationery and saw it all coming....

Have we forgotten.....it's a 7 seater...
I have decided not to claim against my insurance until the third party accepts full liability. Then I will hit em hard for all the hassle.... Discovery 4 HSE Lux - Second time around

If you haven't got a blackview, take lots of photo's, even with your phone, before moving the vehicles. Can be invaluable if someone decides to change their story, like this "silly moo"!

Tell me about it...in fact tell my wife!!
Another parent has come forward who saw the third party pulling out and said she would have knocked down someone as she was not looking. Lets hope the insurers sees sense. Discovery 4 HSE Lux - Second time around

a few flakes of third party blue paint and scuff on the plastic cover that protects the electrics. Wish I left my tow bar on that would have been been worth it!!! Discovery 4 HSE Lux - Second time around
