Predicted Midwest snowstorm: 2 feet in next 24 hours

All meteorologists are predicting 2 feet of snow in the next 24 hours for Chicago. I've never had my D3 in more than 6". Looking forward to seeing how it handles in some more challenging conditions Thumbs Up

Enjoy yourself & watch out for the less fortunate / talented drivers. I read that Dallas got an inch or two of snow this morning & have shut many municipal services. NYC is expected another foot or two of the stuff.

How's the ZOMG Thundersnow going? I understand Lake Shore Drive is "ground zero" for the storm. Key provisions are booze & firecrackers - forget bread, milk & eggs.

Lake Shore Drive, no less. Looks more like an opening scene in a Hollywood disaster flick.

And that pic neatly sums up why I will never go on a UK motorway or dual carriageway when snow is threatened. If I can't do a u-turn, I'm at the mercy of every other fookwit on the road.
