Does anyone know where all of the 17 speakers are positioned? I can only find 14

14 sounds correct
EDIT ....unless the 2012 has 17 speakers ? G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Apparently the premium ice is a 17 speaker system hence the question. I have had a good look and i cannot see where the other 3 are. It is advertised by Land Rover as such, although i have doubts they have that right!

MY12 does not have Full 17 speakers as standard but I think they still call it Premium - only if you order the top spec system do you get surround sound more powerful amp and 17 speakers - from memory it was £1200 when I DIDN'T spec it on mine!!!
Don't forget the ones in the tailgate and the 3 in the extra little trailer which you can ONLY tow if you specc'ed surround cameras with Tow Assist

I did spec the "premium 17 speaker system" hence the question.
Just want to make sure it has been fitted!

Humm. I think I'd count again Mash Tattie, then check the little trailer, THEN get onto your dealer. 'Cause I agree with you the TOP spec sound system definitely suggested MORE speakers AND Bigger Power AMP and Dolby stuff when I saw the spec sheets when I ordered mine and it seemed one hell of a price hike. So YOU should definitely have got a lot extra on yours.

Look under the drivers seat and see if the amp is there, think this would indicate if it has the higher spec HiFi MY17 D5 1st Edition Namib Orange
MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
MY12 D4 HSE Nara Bronze Sold and gone
MY11 D4 HSE Stornaway Grey Sold and gone
D3 S spec Silver Sold and gone
Tow bar, full length roof bars, side steps, tow bar storage unit, surround camers.

You should have an odd number of speakers, to include the single subwoofer....
Think there may be an extra one in the front doors, three on each side? 2016 Discovery 4 Commercial

I agree with Russel, check under the seats as well for more sub woofers and the extra power amp.
BUT please note I am sure my BASIC spec MY12 HSE's system is still called PREMIUM and the TOP spec which is extra cost is now called something else. BUT I only ever saw the dealer web site specs when I bought mine NOT the new Brochure, so they may call it something different now.
You will have paid well over a £1000 extra if you have the TOP SPEC sound system

I have a MY12 HSE and i had the Premium Logic 7, 825w 17 speaker system fitted as an optional extra. I have checked under the seats and i still cannot find the 3 missing speakers?
How can i tell if it has been fitted?!

If there are an extra 3 speakers, my guess is that they have used twin concentric drivers in the front 3 units and numbered them as extra speakers.
