Problem with EE?
Hi Martin,
I have EE mobile broadband. For the past 3 or so days I haven’t been able to access the Disco3/4 and FFRR sites (BabyRR works). I get a ‘server cannot be found’ error. The same issue arises independent of the device I use - iPad, iPhone, PC. I’ve rebooted the router etc - it’s on the latest firmware, which hasn’t changed recently. I’m able to access via the same devices if I hotspot to my iPhone on Vodafone.
It may well be an EE issue, but thought I’d mention it in case of a DNS/certificate issue that was fixable from your end.
Thanks,
Paul.An ex-Disco3 / FFRR / I-Pace owner ......

This is mobile Wi-Fi - a rural broadband ‘solution’, so a different hardware backbone.
Hopefully someone in their ‘nerve centre’ will reboot something when they return to work on Monday. An ex-Disco3 / FFRR / I-Pace owner ......

The EE website now claims that they recently fixed a problem at my location. I’m beginning to suspect the culprit An ex-Disco3 / FFRR / I-Pace owner ......

I couldn't make or receive calls on Vodafone on Saturday morning, had to do a hard reset and everything works again (for now)... must be a weekend for the phone companies to run updates I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Maybe EE has been bought secretly by LR and they are not happy with some of us.

Definitely borked on EE data.
Trying to lookup the disco3/disco4/freel2/fullfatrr/defender2 domains doesn't work using EE's DNS servers. Using an alternative DNS server (e.g. Google's 8.8.8.8 ) works fine.
Looking up disco5.co.uk, which has its nameservers on a different server, works ok though.
There are a few threads on EE's forum about this, so there is evidently a problem, but chances of getting the EE juggernaut to sort this are <0% so I'll move the nameservers for all the other forums - it'll take a day or two to get them all sorted.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

You’ll be glad to know I didn’t understand any of that, after the first sentence!!
At least I think I understood the first sentence.
