Trying to upload photos to the site and getting no joy. All I get after about 20 secs is the message : "There was an error while processing a database query". Anyone else getting the same errors?? 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

Tried all that, never had a problem before. Just getting the message today. Even tried from a different PC, although using the same wireless router and still geting the same message. Tried one at a time and all photos are well below the 7000k limit. Any ideas? 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

That happens to me, too, when I try to load anything with greater resolution than a photo from a mobile... 55-Reg Java Black SE, Unlocked SatNav (via Wiggs and Bodsy), Nudge Bar/Driving Lamps/RAI, Front & Rear Lamp Guards, RLD Sump Plate, RLD spare wheel protector

In that case the upload time from your pc is likely to be causing the server to time out .....getting your hands on a faster connection may be the answer 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

These photos are only between 250-380kb so shouldn't be a problem as far as i am aware.
DG, uploaded photos to other sites today and it has only taken seconds, just this site that seems to be having problems, unfortunately. 2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

No other users have reported problems .....but other than the advice given you will have to wait until Martin can take a look I'm afraid  21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I've tried too but with no luck. I was guessing my issue was I was trying to do it from slow ISDN line at work. Was going to try from B/Band later
Also tried to upload Avatars from PC, they are the right size both physically and dimensionally but it still just bombs. Can only choose one off the existing Gallery.
I put my issue down to "not reading the damn instructions" and lack of patience.

Just checked the speed of my line and currently giving 6.4mb download and just under 1mb upload so line is not to blame at this end. Guess the hosting server may be having issues if there are quite a few of us with the same problem  2018 D5 3.0 HSE Lux

If you get a "database error" then please report it, it won't be down to user incompetence

Site is increasing slow but only at times, i noticed the database error last night but thought it was due to the slowness of it all.

Nothing showing up on the database, I've managed to upload some test photos and others have been uploading today too.
Are you getting problems before or after you enter the photo titles/captions?

This is a different problem - the gallery and avatar upload on the forum are different, what do you mean by "bombs"? 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti
