So, i decided to treat myself to an iphone last Thursday. I have been playing around with it all weekend (like you do when you get a new toy) and paired it with the D3 today. So i paired it and tried it out to make sure it works, but when you switch of the bluetooth or go out of range from the car, example: Go in to the house. When you get back to the car, you have to pair the iphone again. This happens every time!
Its a bit of a pain in the bum when you have to do this every time you go to the car.
Does anyone know or has any idea why this is? 07 D3 Zermatt Silver, Stainless Steel Tubes, Chrome Mirror caps, Tints.

Go into the bluetooth bit on the iPhone, then into my devices, or whatever the equivalent it on iPhone, then select more or options when you see Land Rover. Then select something like always allow connection or something similar.
Sorry to not be detailed but I don't have an iPhone and I use a Sony and had the same problem! Ben

It doesnt give me any options.
It says Land Rover Paired, and thats it. The only other thing is that it seems to keep searching for more devices. 07 D3 Zermatt Silver, Stainless Steel Tubes, Chrome Mirror caps, Tints.

Again, I haven't got an iphone, but on all the bluetooth phones I've had, once paired you can "authorise" the connection on the phone which will allow it to automatically pair up. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Cant understand why its not staying paired ...Mine stays paired with the LR aftermarket kit no problems.
The iphone is very limited with its bluethooth.
Are you getting it showing paired in the bluetooth menu
The one that says FORD AUDIO is the LR one ..just different on the Factory fit and aftermarket G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Yes. It says Land Rover Paired.
You can make a call as long as the bluetooth symbol is blue.
But if you switch of the bluetooth, then switch it back on, the iphone still says Land Rover paired but the bluetooth symbol is grey. And if you dont pair the phone again, it will not work. it will say its not connected. 07 D3 Zermatt Silver, Stainless Steel Tubes, Chrome Mirror caps, Tints.
