Plus surely they shouldn't be taking your money until it's dispatched, however late that is.

Thanks for the help and for making contact, at least I know the reason why there is no response this week.
I have sent an email today so hopefully we can get it sorted out next week.D4 2016 Landmark, Waitomo Grey.

For what it's worth, my experience of Prospeed is positive. I bought a roof rack from them last year. I was going to be passing through Yorkshire so I arranged to visit their premises to have it fitted. Finding them is difficult as their premises is up an I signposted track. It seems like a bit of a cottage industry but they were very efficient and friendly getting the roof rack fitted and me on my way again.
When I got home, I found a couple of minor faults with the roof rack and after sending photos they agreed to change it by courier swap which would have been expensive for them. I never heard back from them for a year and for various reasons, I never got round to chasing them up. Then out of the blue, I got an email saying that they hadn't forgotten me and asking when would it suit to get it swapped over. I really couldn't be bothered taking the old one off, packaging it up and fitting a new one so I asked if they would supply me with some other parts as compensation for keeping the faulty roof rack (which I can get fixed at not much cost). They readily agreed and now have a happy customer who would be more than happy to purchase from them again.

Not the first time no contact at all has been reported to customers placed orders, it seems a shame that people have had to resort to posting on here, just to get third hand information.
Having had no experience myself of Prospeed, I am only left with an impression, posted by others in there frustration at having no contact or information provided.D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Prospeed are a solid group, making great products , web dealing is never a substitute for direct contact in my opinion, especially for something like this.
Service may be slow, comms poor, I feel if they'd been spoken to at time of order, a lot if this noise would be avoided

See its that kind of response you reply to many a thread on here that makes me think
I take what I read/hear as a fair example of what people are like and prospeed/you are in the same avoid category.
Its most likely hard to read this but poor customer service is a killer for any business no matter what their product is like.

All businesses make mistakes but the key is to learn from them. I've never used Prospeed, but from what i've read on here over the past few years is that their products are good and that they do look after their customers. I would have no issue buying from them from what I've read and the feedback they've had.
Yes its a shame that there has been a communication hiccup, but don't hang them out to dry on an open forum. I'm sure it will all come good in the end and lessons will be learnt.
p.s Geoff, its a shame you don't live closer. All I hear about you is good and I would be more than happy to use your services. New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)
