PTI Retro Fit
Just got all the bits delivered to fit the LR bluetooth PTI system, the instructions however are a nightmare!
Anyone done it who could help me out? Stripping the console down is no problem but can't work out where the hell it all plugs in.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Yeah I fitted one to my last one, It's not that hard you do have to take most of the centre console out. I can help you out if needed if you can wait for a free weekend.

It's not hard Andy, takes a while though as you have to remove loads of stuff. AFAIR there's only one place each bit can plug in so even allowing for the not so helpful IKEA style instructions it should all be fairly obvious.
When you get to fitting the mike in the overhead console move the voice command one over to the passenger side so the phone one is fitted nearest you, it's surprising how much better you can be heard thenThe End

Is it better to retro-fit the PTI or use the Parrot..?
I was about to buy the Parrot, but if the PTI is an easy fit, I'd rather have the integrated solution.
What is the cost difference, the Parrot CK3100 is approx £100.
cheers
