PULLING TO THE LEFT / NEW TYRES

On std tyres my D3 had a distinct pull to the left, off to Stratstone to get awheel alinment done.
The car seemed to be better although the steering wheel was not centered.
Over a couple of weeks the pull has returned, Big Cry it's booked back in to have another look.
I have just had AT2's fitted, the pull is the same as on the std. tyres.
Is there anything else I can prompt them to have a look at?
Do I need a wheel alinement after fitting tyres as a matter of course?

On EVERY car that I've owned, I've always had the alignment set whenever buying a set of new tyres. On the D3, I think that it is even more important.

Best Wishes,
