Punch Hunt
Took the D3 to take part in a 'Punch Hunt' hosted by Beds, Herts & Cambs Land Rover Club today...
Had an absolutely great time, the D3 taking most of it in it's stride...
The day started off cold, drove the hour to Great Brickhill
The car got given it's 'punch ticket' and we were then let loose and the hunt began...
Off to a slow start but then started spotting 'punches' and collecting them at a decent rate...

Although i did get very stuck at one point and need rescuing...

But the end result was good... Managed to get first in Road/AT Tyre class and walk away with a nice bit of glass
Had an all round awesome day putting the D3 through it's paces and once the 'hunt' was over took on some of the 'more aggressive' tyre routes to see what the D3 was capable of, only let down by it's tyres (Duratracs) in the really muddy bits but it managed all the steep climbs and decents without any problems, i'm already looking forward to the next one...

It was an absolutely great day, and for only £20 once your a club member, with unlimited tea and coffee and cheap food onsite too...
I've got 3 hours of GoPro footage to pull some of the good bits out of when i get some time in the week...
