All the new Fords I take out the depot have, 100%, been set to Radio 2. As I cannot stand Zoe 'screeching' Ball that gets switched to Chris Evans on Virgin, Chris Moyles on Radio X or TalkSport until 9.30am when its radio 2 again for Ken Bruce until 2.00pm and 50/50 if I carry on listening to Steve Wright (he's wearing a bit thin with me now) but sometimes switch back for Sara Cox if not engrossed in a Spotify playlist by then.
Weekends is Tony Blackburn if up early enough then Graham Norton on Virgin (don't like him as a TV presenter though) then back to Paul Gambaccini then usually stream music if still in. Don't listen to much on Sundays.
If I now ever switch Radio 1 on I genuinely have no idea who 90% of the artists are

Mainly BBC Radio 6 Music. If not that then my USB stick with a cracking mixture of 80s, Disco and a good chunk of JS Bach. I have an eclectic taste.D1 300Tdi - gone

Talking of volume, many years ago, I was driving back to the Midlands from the Lake District.
Mates and I had had a fab long bank holiday weekend up there, which we extended as long as we could do, So Monday night I started driving, well actually it was just into Tuesday morning, and I had to be at work for 8.00 AM, So it was several hours of Meatloaf one side of my c90 cassette & U2 on the other, on repeat, on full volume, and my mates still slept through it.
