Question about phone cradle fitting |
|
A request for information with regard to phones/PTI.
I have a 54 reg HSE that has bluetooth phone connection capability which worked ok with my old phone, but not my new phone. My new phone will pair with the vehicle, but when an incoming call is accepted it does not put the sound through the vehicle ICE front speakers.
If anyone has any tips for getting the new phone to work this would be good, but my main question is can i install a cradle so that i can make maximum use of the installed functions.
I have the green and red buttons on the right of the steering wheel, but not an antenna on the rear of the roof, and no apparent place to plug in the cradle under the centre console lid (i have a fridge fitted if it makes any difference).
My old phone was a Nokia 6021 which was listed on the LR phone compatability, but described as poor sound quality, whereas my new phone (Nokia 3109 classic) is not listed at all.
Thanks in advance for any advice, Tim.

This is always a very hot topic
You will have to check the LR website www.landrover.co.uk to see if you phone is fully compatible with the functions of your vehicle.
There is not option for fitting the cradle system to your car if not fitted as standard...Many have tried and i have looked into it but there is to many options on new wirting looms and is not cost effective...To be honest the chances are if all fitted then it may not work without engineering code update which will be impossible to get TLO has left the building.......
I no longer work for a Landrover Dealer
