Quick question on my ZF gearbox

2016 D4 SDVC

Gearbox flushed by Bodsy at 60,000 miles as recommended by ZF. Mileage now almost 120,000 and about to book another flush. Did I read somewhere that there is a filter? If so is it also now due?

I had my gearbox flushed on a 2016 Adblue model. The plan was to drop the sump and change the suction strainer/filter at the same time.

Apparently there is extra kit on the exhaust or around the area which would take extra time to remove/replace.

As it was purely preventative maintenance I just went with the flush only. Previously with my D3 I had the flush and filter changed but that was at a higher mileage and there was a judder starting at certain speeds.

Correct, the pan incorporates a filter. Simply replace the pan. Have had mine done every 50k kms. on all my vehicles with ZF gear boxes.
