Rabbit - AND OTHER EDIBLES (to keep the pedants happy )
We had rabbit for our meal tonight. It was both unexpected and delicious in fairly equal amounts. I was playing with one of the air-rifles this morning and it just appeared in the corner of the garden, eating some of my early veg cop so i thought "why not?"
Long story short, lovely meal with a few boiled spuds.
Then I start getting grief from the neighbours ... they're (normally) a nice couple but very much vegan. Wouldn't let it go about how wrong it was. on and on and on, until finally I snapped ....
"You should've kept the hutch locked then ! "
