Radiator / Intercooler 'BIB'
I have just about completed a prototype shaped bib that fits to the underside of a Mantec guard and then to the top of the engine bay under the bonnet. The reason for making this bib is the fact that the intercooler is a pain to clean out. So I thought OK lets make a bib stop the crap getting in and do away with the need for cleaning it.
Is there any interest out there for more? The bib will come with its own storage bag.
Costs will be dependant on quantity. I will get a rough price this week.In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I bought a radiator cover with seed net from APB a few weeks ago. I was going to try and modify that but if you are going to do all the work for me then I'm in
compatible with winch and A-Frame I assume Duncan

I could do. The only problem is the material I have used is grey as thats what I had lying around and it looks . I would prefer to post pictures of the black production model when its complete. Having said that this bib is to be placed on the car just for going through water and then removed once clear. So looks ain't the most important feature. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

This is the Bib I got from APB. If you mount it on the top of the A-Bar the seed net reaches down to the bumper but its a bit messy over the winch so needs some modification.

The one I have made is quite a bit more substantial than that I think I could have overdone it a bit In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.
Sounds/looks like a good idea - could be interested, but am saving up for an OzTent which has to come first LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Well its tailor made to the front of the car. From the two holes to wards the back of the Mantec plate, up to the slam panel and just inside the headlights left to right. It's also made from a reinforced membrane similar to the material used for HD air jacks, however its not bullet proof. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

What about this thread on a different solution to the same 'issue' ?
If made removable (well the rad grill is easily taken off anyway) would be easy to clean out and could be left in place.
